Protostomes & deuterostomes- The fate of Blastophore!
# During embryonic development, after gastrulation, the blastophore becomes the first opening aperture of the endoderm, the food pipe (alimentary canal).
- In Protostomes (Annelida, Arthropoda & Mollusca), the blastophore developed as a mouth and extends the development of the remaining food pipe, later, the anus is formed.
- In Deuterostomes (Echinodermata, Hemi-Chordata & Chordata)), the blastophore developed as a anus, first, and extends the development of the remaining food pipe, later, the mouth is formed.
- Video- forming the mouth or anus in the embryo.
